Foreclosure rates decreasing in US, California, an
Foreclosure rates in the San Diego-Carlsbad area decreased for the month of June over the same period last year, according to data released by CoreLogic(NYSE: CLGX) on Monday.
The rate of San Diego-Carlsbad-area foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 0.36 percent for June 2015, a decrease of 0.11 percentage points compared with June 2014 when the rate was 0.47 percent.
Foreclosure activity in the San Diego-Carlsbad area was lower than the national foreclosure rate, which was 1.28 percent for June 2015.
Also in San Diego-Carlsbad, the mortgage delinquency rate decreased.
According data for June 2015, 1.43 percent of mortgage loans were 90 days or more delinquent compared with 1.88 percent for the same period last year, representing a decrease of 0.45 percentage points.
For California, the 90-plus-day delinquency rate in June 2015 was 1.74 percent, down 0.54 percent from the rate a year earlier.
The state's foreclosure rate in June 2015 was 0.48 percent, down 0.14 percent from June 2014.
For the United States, the 90-plus-day delinquency rate in June 2015 was 3.51 percent, down 0.89 percent from the rate a year earlier.
The state's foreclosure rate in June 2015 was 1.28 percent, down 0.43 percent from June 2014.
